GET Group is pleased to announce it has been officially selected as a solutions provider for the upcoming African Cup of Nations 2019, to be held in Egypt between 21 June and 19 July 2019. GET Group has developed an integrated system, ‘Tazkarti’, through which fans will be able to purchase their tickets through an online portal and register their details, before receiving their Fan ID, which will be used for fan identification and access through the electronic gates at stadiums and venues.

The solution was unveiled during a ceremony attended by H.E. Abdel Fattah al Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who listened to a presentation by Mr. Khaled Aziz, representing GET Group, who demonstrated the system’s capabilities and the advanced security features available in the Fan ID. During the event, President al Sisi became the first recipient of the Fan ID.
