
GET Group has participated in The GITEX Technology Week 2020 with a renewed solutions portfolio.
GITEX Technology Week is the MENA region's first physically and digitally attended technology and communications exhibition in 2020, where GET Group is a well-recognized exhibitor and partner after many years of uninterrupted participation. At this year's edition of GITEX, GET Group's booth featured several stations, showcasing the Group's solutions and those of technology partners within a layout and experience that reflected the new business sectors the Group is focusing on, namely: Identity Management, Digital Transformation, Safe and Smart Cities, and Commercial Card Printing.
The Identity Management station featured solutions offers governments an end-to-end management of travel and identity document issuance programs, including eP600, the ePassport personalization printer, which is now available with proprietary ink ribbon enabling issuance authorities to personalize polycarbonate data pages using pigment inks and reverse retransfer printing. Also featured was the CP500 eID personalization printer, which is currently in use by many governments for the issuance of ID cards, driving licenses and other high-security documents. In integration with the CP500, the new laser engraving solution CLM-500 was featured, giving booth visitors a glimpse of how a blank card can within minutes be personalized with pigment ink, laser and a wide range of counterfeit-proof security features. Additionally, GET Group has introduced its Mobile ID revealing the future of digitized identity.
Within the same business sector, GET Group highlighted The Vi1200, for the production of visa sheets and other government documents at a high-quality, high-security personalization profile.
At the Digital Transformation station, GET Group's specialists and technology partners spoke to visitors about the Robotic Process Automation, Digital Process Automation and Digital Customer Service platforms which the Group has recently integrated into its solutions, with a solid proven portfolio of successful implementations in the UAE and the region.
From the Safe and Smart Cities business sector, GET Group's booth featured two stations: Premises Security and Law Enforcement intelligence. The Premises Security station featured solutions for access control, asset tracking, video surveillance and asset management, in partnership with Traka, Fibrenetix, Quuppa and TBS. The Law Enforcement Intelligence station featured law enforcement support solutions Smart Patrol and Watch Guard, facilitating operational efficiency and situational awareness through a wide range of video, ANPR, body-worn and face recognition cameras. GET Group introduced Touchless Environment; a smart solution built to operate any site completely touch-free, through Biometric Identification, High Temperature Detection, Mask Verification, Automatic Door Opener and Motion Detection Buttons.
At the Digital Customer Experience station, GET Group's Queue Management System was featured, giving booth visitors a glimpse of its modular features that facilitate branch management and service delivery at key touchpoints, in a manner that assists in customer retention.
