The CP400 utilizes Toppan's legendary pigment ink (non dye) printing method, resulting in cards with unparalleled stability, image sharpness and color fidelity.

The printer's use of UV and plasticizer barriers further enhances the longevity and integrity of the cards. Because the CP400 uses an indirect print method, it is ideal for printing on uneven card surfaces, such as on smart cards.

The chip encoding feature allows for one-step simultaneous encoding of data (contact, contactless or magnetic stripe) with card printing, making this printer perfect for biometric card applications.

The printer's 600 dpi capability permits the printing of ultra-fine characters with extraordinary sharpness and rich color detail. It also contains special dual side cleaning rollers, which greatly reduce print spoilage related to dust or other contaminants on card stock.

It's easy operation, USB connectivity, and extremely durable construction, make the CP400 ideal for centralized or decentralized card issuance. An optional, attachable patch lamination unit is also available for clear or holographic laminates.
